Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Fort Nelson, BC is hiring a General Clerk/Cashier to support daily store operations and deliver friendly service to customers.

You will operate a cash register, share product knowledge, keep the department stocked and presented, and ensure clean, safe work areas. Open availability is preferred, and the team offers weekly pay, discounts, benefits and pension eligibility, wellness programs, and opportunities to learn and grow.

Qualifications

• Retail experience in customer service is preferred.
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Stock and present merchandise effectively.

Responsibilities

Open Availability Is Preferred.
You will be responsible for:

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Operating a cash register.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.
