Job summary

Cactus Communications seeks accomplished physician-researchers to serve as Subject Matter Experts in GenAI for medical research. You will guide product and workflow design, evaluate GenAI outputs for scientific rigor, and help integrate clinical data into AI-enabled research tools.

Ideal candidates hold an MD with Internal Medicine, a US medical license, and a strong publication record. Experience in RCTs, systematic reviews, or meta-analyses is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Active physician with hands-on experience in clinical research, RCTs, reviews or meta-analyses.
• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals as first or senior author.
• Understanding of research methods and publication ethics.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance in product and workflow design for clinical research, including systematic and other reviews, RCTs, and qualitative studies.
• Evaluate and validate GenAI outputs for scientific accuracy and methodological rigor (CONSORT, PRISMA, GRADE).
• Facilitate integration of clinical data sources into AI-enabled tools and agents, focusing on journal content.
• Collaborate with product managers, GenAI data scientists, UX designers, and developers to define test cases and translate workflows into AI-enabled research capabilities.
• Translate complex requirements into actionable design specs and evaluation metrics for GenAI agent accuracy and reliability.
• Provide clinical review during model selection, tuning, testing, and refinement; represent organization in customer engagements.
