Job summary

Cactus Communications is seeking freelance Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in GenAI for medical research. You will guide design and testing of AI-enabled tools, bridge clinicians with data scientists, and help ensure high-quality evidence synthesis.

Ideal candidates are accomplished physician-researchers with strong publication records and hands-on experience in RCTs, systematic reviews, or meta-analyses, and familiarity with major medical databases.

Qualifications

• Active MD with Internal Medicine specialization and US clinical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance in product and workflow design for clinical research incl. systematic reviews, RCTs, and meta-analyses.
• Evaluate GenAI outputs for scientific accuracy, methodological rigor, and compliance with CONSORT/PRISMA/GRADE.
• Collaborate with product managers, GenAI scientists, UX designers, and software developers to translate clinical workflows into AI-assisted research capabilities.
