Job description

Position Description:

Must have hands-on Generative AI experience, this is not an entry-level role

The Emerging Technologies team in Global Technology and Operations (GTO) Canada at CGI is a trusted Data, Cloud, and AI advisor and implementation partner for our global clients' Data and Advanced Analytics needs. We are an entrepreneurial team focused on positioning CGI as a leading AI partner and developing new opportunities in the latest technologies. Our expertise in Generative AI is evolving, with current focus on GenAI agents and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Building GenAI solutions for CGI and clients, including Agentic frameworks
  2. Evaluating output quality, fine-tuning, and deploying AI solutions
  3. Developing Large Language Models and NLP solutions, researching best practices
  4. Data and Prompt Engineering to enhance user experience
  5. Building, tuning, deploying, and monitoring ML solutions with MLOps, RAG, and latest techniques
  6. Fine-tuning LLMs with techniques like LoRA, QLoRA
  7. Mitigating risks and optimizing costs, advising clients on GenAI best practices
  8. Collaborating with innovation teams and stakeholders on GenAI solutions
  9. Working with Data Scientists and Engineers in client engagements
  10. Implementing proofs of concept and scaling solutions across environments

Minimum qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of residency in Canada
  • Hands-on experience with GenAI solutions, including deployment in production
  • Prompt Engineering experience with tools like Azure Promptflow, Amazon Bedrock, Azure AI Studio
  • Building LLM-based solutions on Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Experience fine-tuning LLMs with recent techniques
  • Deployment experience with open-source models (LLaMa, Mistral, etc.)
  • Experience with Vector Databases
  • At least 5 years delivering Advanced Analytics solutions
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, major cloud platforms

Additional desired qualifications:

  • Experience with MSFT 365 Copilot and related tools
  • Experience with agentic frameworks like Crew AI, Autogen

Skills include Data Engineering, Migration, Modeling, Validation, Warehousing, and English language proficiency.
