This role acts as the intermediate layer between cloud services, infrastructure, security, governance and business stakeholders in relation to Google Cloud Platform. The organization has recently onboarded GCP for AI/ML capabilities, including Vertex AI and Gemini, and is moving from a sandbox environment to production, so the consultant will serve as the GCP subject matter expert and application support resource, close the communication gap between technical and business teams in the orchestration process, and build out the diagrams and documentation that support user onboarding. This is a consultative, advisory and coordination role rather than an architecture or development role, so deep GCP knowledge and strong stakeholder communication are essential, but hands-on coding and architecture design are not expected.
