Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • As a Trade Floor Technology Consultant, you will provide responsive technical consulting and support for solving computer and related technology issues on Scotiabank’s trade floor. As part of the Global Banking & Markets , Trade Floor Support & Automationteam, you will:
  • Analyze issues and then resolve, escape, or redirect such issues to the appropriate channels.
  • Implement leading-edge trading technologies used on the trade floor such as Bloomberg to constantly improve trade floor capabilities.
  • Be responsible for handling and configuring a wide variety of mobile devices, such as laptops, iPhones, and tablets.
  • Work on a variety of projects including new technology initiatives, data analysis, and analytics.
  • May also take on programming tasks such as development of in-house web‑based tools for optimization of trade floor processes.
