We are currently seeking a Gatehouse Associate to work in a fast-paced retail environment. This role involves working outdoors and requires extensive knowledge of building materials to ensure accurate customer orders. Due to the loss prevention responsibilities, you must ensure all products are accounted for and paid for before customers leave. Success in this position requires efficiency, tact, and thoroughness.

Responsibilities

1. Collect payments from customers
2. Operate registers, scanners, and credit/debit card terminals
3. Check customer loads for accuracy
4. Manage incoming and outgoing loads at the yard
5. Report violations, theft, accidents, or injuries to management
6. Provide excellent customer service
7. Lift light to heavy merchandise as needed
