Job summary

The University of Alberta is seeking a licensed practical nurse with clinical research experience to coordinate patient-facing clinical trials under supervision. You will guide participants through the full trial journey, from screening to study close-out, combining direct care with meticulous documentation and regulatory coordination.

Responsibilities include recruitment, visits, safety reporting and data quality, working with investigators, CROs and sponsors to ensure trials are conducted

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse designation.
• 3+ years of clinical research experience, with emphasis on gastroenterology.
• Experience working with patients, recruiting participants and coordinating trials.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pre-screen potential participants and obtain informed consent.
• Coordinate and conduct study visits, monitor adherence and provide education.
• Manage adverse events reporting and safety communication per protocol.
• Maintain source documents, eCRFs and data quality for monitoring visits.
