Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a Plant Mechanic to support its Dawn-Parkway Storage and Transmission operations in Ontario. You will perform maintenance and repair of turbines, valves, and ancillary equipment, guided by CMMS workflows, while ensuring safe and reliable operation to serve customers daily.

The role requires a Grade 12 education, a valid Class G driver’s license, and a willingness to progress through all classification grades.

Qualifications

Minimum Grade 12 education or proven equivalent.
Class 'G' driver’s license required with a good driving record.
Willingness to progress through all grades of the classification; progression after exams.
Respirator fit testing may be required; respirator use possible.
May be required to enter a confined space.

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot and repair industrial natural gas turbines and large compressor sets up to 44,000 horsepower.
Perform maintenance on hydraulic valves up to 48" diameter.
Use a CMMS for day-to-day work assignments.
Maintain ancillary equipment: air compressors, emergency generators, fire suppression systems, boilers.
Participate in safety tailgate talks and team meetings.
Perform construction oversight as required.
React quickly to troubleshoot mechanical failures and place equipment back in operation.
