About Brucejack

Our Brucejack Gold Mine, a high-grade underground mine in beautiful northern British Columbia, is located approximately 65 kilometres north of Stewart. Brucejack is a fly-in/fly-out operation with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. We work closely with local First Nations communities including the Nisga’a, Tahltan, Gitanyow, and Gitxsan, to build respectful partnerships and celebrate our shared community.

Your Impact

You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our underground operations. By maintaining and distributing essential safety equipment, your attention to detail and proactive approach will help protect lives and support operational readiness at the start of every shift.

As Part of Our Team You Will

• Calibrate, inspect, clean, and distribute gas detectors, cap lamps, and SR30 self-rescue devices
• Track and manage inventory; report equipment issues and coordinate reorders
• Maintain accurate sign-in/out logs and support compliance with safety procedures
• Conduct warehouse pickups, organize equipment storage, and restock PPE supplies
• Maintain clean and organized safety equipment areas
• Assist with underground equipment support or removal as needed

Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–2 years of experience in industrial or safety-related environments
• Strong organizational skills and clear communication abilities
• Physically capable of lifting and handling equipment (up to 30 lbs) and working variable shifts
• Valid BC driver’s license
• Basic computer skills (particularly Microsoft Outlook and Teams)

Assets that will set you apart:
• Experience with gas detection equipment and calibration procedures
• Familiarity with the Health, Safety and Reclamation Code for Mines in BC or OSHA regulations
• Knowledge of PPE requirements and safety protocols
• Understanding of hazardous waste handling and disposal

We are offering a competitive hourly wage of CA$35.31. This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
