Job summary

Calgary Co-op is seeking a Gas Bar Supervisor to lead daily operations, ensure safe and efficient service, and supervise Gas Bar Clerks. The role focuses on customer service, stock management, and adherence to policies across gas bar activities.

Minimum qualifications include Grade 12, 6 months gas bar or retail experience, basic skills in Word/Excel/Outlook, and 18+ years of age. Calgary Co-op offers competitive wages, health benefits, vacations, a 5% employee discount, and development programs.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education or acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Six (6) months of gas bar or equivalent retail experience, with strong product knowledge.
• Basic receiving, ordering and merchandising skills.
• Basic Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service and maintains positive customer relations through the proper handling of questions, comments, requests and complaints.
• Plans and performs all aspects of Gas Bar functions including stocking and display functions, facing in an efficient and organized manner.
• Handles merchandise ensuring quality, minimizing damages and markdowns, and ensures price integrity.
• Performs general cleanup duties and keeps the sales floor, back stock area and pump islands clean.
• Follows Occupational Health & Safety, Food Safety and Environmental regulations and policies to ensure safety of staff and customers.
