Job summary

The Pioneer Co-Operative Association Limited in Swift Current is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to assist customers at the fuel station, operate the cash register, and support daily shop duties. Responsibilities include handling Lottery and Tobacco sales, maintaining clean pumps and carwash area, restocking shelves, and assisting with opening and closing tasks.

The role requires flexibility for mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to interact with the public and work well in a team.
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Must obtain TDG, WHMIS & Propane Certifications.
• Safety-sensitive position; compliance with Alcohol and Substance Policy.
• Average 24–40 hours/week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide fuel pump and propane service to customers
• Operate cash register and perform cash-related duties
• Process Lottery Ticket sales and Tobacco products
• Maintain exterior cleanliness including carwash and pump island area
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of sales area including refreshment areas
• Assist in stock control and receiving of merchandise.
• Assist with opening, closing duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have the ability to interact with the public and work well with other team members. Must be able to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends; will be required to obtain TDG, WHMIS & Propane Certifications. This position is classified as Safety Sensitive therefore is subject to Pioneer Co-ops Alcohol and Substance Policy as a condition of employment. Averages 24 40 hours/week.
