About The Role

As a GardaWorld Academy Product Owner, your primary responsibility is to set up, deploy, and maintain learning and development programs, events, and resources for GardaWorld employees and partners worldwide. Reporting to the Global Learning Systems Manager, you will own the learning management system, aligning and configuring it to meet strategic development, training, and certification goals.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for GardaWorld Academy;
  2. Act as an expert on GardaWorld’s learning systems;
  3. Ensure that internal stakeholders' needs are met by the platform’s functionalities and promote transparency through effective communication;
  4. Develop strategies to encourage user adoption of the Academy;
  5. Create and maintain product documentation and train internal stakeholders and partners as needed;
  6. Create and generate reports on user activity, engagement, and performance internationally, following stakeholder guidelines;
  7. Support user groups, acting as a liaison between users and IT support to ensure a seamless experience;
  8. Lead and analyze organizational surveys to develop recommendations for continuous improvement and solutions;
  9. Monitor user engagement and adjust product features or communications accordingly;
  10. Support regional Academy administrators and learning & development teams with product support and best practices;
  11. Lead quality assurance tests for LMS functionality and content launches;
  12. Manage user accounts, roles, authorizations, compliance, content, and system monitoring and troubleshooting.

What We Are Looking For

  1. Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Education, Human Resources);
  2. Experience implementing a learning management system or platform in a global organization;
  3. Experience with Absorb LMS (considered an asset);
  4. Experience delivering learning projects internationally;
  5. Experience writing manuals or work instructions and continuous improvement (asset);
  6. Fluency in English (bilingual in French and English if based in Quebec);
  7. Basic understanding of programming concepts and IT infrastructure (asset).
