GARAGE, the dynamic fashion brand under Groupe Dynamite, is looking for a Sales Assistant Manager to lead a high-energy team on the sales floor. You will partner with the Store Manager to optimize sales results and deliver an exceptional customer experience, while guiding a passionate team to perform at their best.

In this role you’ll balance floor leadership with hands-on coaching, drive customer engagement, and support daily operations, including digital channels, to grow traffic and loyalty

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education an asset.
• 2 years of management experience, preferably in fashion retail.
• Passion for fashion and exceptional customer service; strong communication skills.

Job summary:

Reporting to the Store Manager, your main focus as Sales Assistant Manager is to assist the Store Manager by providing leadership that optimizes sales results, with specific ownership of the customer experience on the sales floor. Through effective floor management, you will ensure the promotion of a positive shopping experience for each customer, while leading and inspiring a high performing team to drive operational efficiency and increase traffic through digital platforms. You are an integral part of the success of your store!

Qualifications

• High school diploma; post-secondary education in business or related discipline, an asset
• 2 years of management experience, preferably in a fashion clothing environment
• Has passion for fashion, and displays an outgoing personality and passion for providing exceptional customer service
• Demonstrate organizational skills, solving skills, and decision making abilities
• Demonstrate flexibility, innovation and sense of urgency in identifying and reacting to the changing business environment by contributing impactful ideas and solutions
• Demonstrate the ability to promote an environment that encourages participation, creativity and learning by sharing best practices and building on the ideas of othersBuild partnerships and prioritize collaboration
• Social Media Skills, Mobile Device Skills, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or Open-Office
• Availability to work a on flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as per business needs
