Job Summary

Reporting to the Store Manager, your main focus as the Assistant Manager is to assist the Store Manager in all aspects of the store operations, by providing leadership that optimizes sales results. You promote a positive shopping experience for each customer, while leading and inspiring a high-performing team to drive operational efficiency and traffic on the sales floor and through digital platforms. You play an important role in the day-to-day operations of the store. You contribute to optimizing inventory management, increasing sales, and customer satisfaction while maintaining the brand and visual/merchandising standards & directives in the store. You also contribute to inventory management through shipment processing, sales floor replenishment, and eCommerce order fulfillment. You are an integral part of your store's success!

Qualifications

  • High school diploma; post-secondary education in business or related discipline is an asset
  • 2 years of management experience, preferably in a fashion clothing environment, or equivalent management experience
  • Passion for fashion & a customer-oriented mindset
  • Problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities
  • Flexibility, innovation, and a sense of urgency in reacting to the changing business environment by contributing impactful ideas and solutions
  • Excellent organizational, time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to build partnerships and prioritize collaboration
  • Social media skills, mobile device proficiency, and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or OpenOffice
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per business needs
