A leading gaming company in Montreal is seeking a Game Security Team member to manage and reduce security risks for game projects. You will implement local security programs, collaborate with developer teams, and ensure effective communication of security needs. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Computer Sciences, 3+ years of experience in game development or IT security, and skills in API exploitation and scripting. This position supports a hybrid work model.
Summary: As a member of the Game Security Team, the incumbent helps managing and reducing security risks by providing technical security expertise and best practices, focusing on games related projects.
What you bring
Training: Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Sciences or related discipline. Master’s Degree in Computer Sciences is a plus. Experience in cyber security (network, API, and encryption / obfuscation best practices). Cyber security certificates such as OSCP, OSTH, OSDA, or PT1 are a plus.
Relevant experience: 3 to 5+ years in game development or IT security, with experience in API exploitation and scripting (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
