Ubisoft IT is looking for a Game Analytics Manager to join the Canadian Analytics Team (CAT), part of the Ubisoft Data Office (UDO). This team’s mission is to create exceptional gaming experiences by centering player behaviors and motivations in the design process. They achieve this by delivering in-depth player insights through qualitative and quantitative analysis using various methodologies and data sources.

The Game Analytics Manager will implement best analytical practices in the Montréal studio. The main goal is to promote and develop data utilization in the games. The manager will support production stakeholders in translating their concerns into actionable quantitative analyses of player behaviors, explore new techniques, and foster innovative solutions. Additionally, they will develop the team’s knowledge on relevant topics and contribute to the Ubisoft Analytics community.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of relevant, actionable studio KPIs.
• Build statistical and predictive models to improve game performance insights.
• Standardize and align KPI frameworks for consistent performance comparison.
• Promote best practices in analytics through community-building and knowledge sharing.
• Recommend improvements to tools, processes, and data workflows across the studio.
• Assess and shape the development path for analytical talent within the organization.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Publishing, Marketing, and HR analytics teams.
• Recruit and develop a high-performing analytics team aligned with strategic goals.
• Set objectives, lead the team, and oversee daily operations.
• Coach team members and monitor performance to ensure growth.
• Apply statistical approaches such as sampling, Machine Learning, and A/B testing.
• Utilize analysis tools like Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, Python, SQL.
• Understand IT concepts related to data management and software development.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional departments.
• Lead change management initiatives for new projects.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and synthesis skills.
