Base pay range

CA$60.00/hr - CA$80.00/hr

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver initiatives within FX trading and hedging applications.
• Analyze requirements, create detailed documentation (SRS/SRD), and manage user stories within Confluence.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define business needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Drive enhancements, upgrades, and implementations of FX currency hedge applications (e.g., Kyriba, Reval, FiREapps, Quantum, Wallstreet FX, etc.).
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of dataflows, trade lifecycle processes, and capital markets products (FX/Derivatives).
• Support migrations of trading applications from legacy platforms to Azure cloud environments.
• Potentially lead projects end-to-end, including managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder communications.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience, specifically with FX currency hedge applications.
• Strong experience in front-office FX trading environments.
• Proficiency in writing SRS/SRD documents and creating user stories.
• Skilled in Confluence and requirements documentation.
• Deep understanding of dataflows and stakeholder management within complex projects.
• 5+ years of hands-on hedging experience.
• 2+ years of experience with FX trading systems (Wallstreet, Calypso, or Murex; Wallstreet preferred).
• Experience implementing or upgrading trading applications.
• Strong knowledge of the full trade lifecycle for FX and derivatives.
• Experience migrating applications to Azure cloud platforms.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience leading end-to-end projects or implementations of FX currency hedge applications.
• Previous experience at major Canadian banks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Exposure to AI use cases within financial services.
