Job summary

Monex in Toronto, Canada is seeking a Business Development Associate to drive new business growth by onboarding corporate and institutional clients and building long-term relationships rooted in trust and service excellence.

You will perform high-volume outbound sales, ensure rigorous KYC and regulatory compliance, and collaborate with sales, marketing and risk teams to deliver focused strategies and meet targets in a dynamic global finance environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a B2B sales, business development, or account management role within financial services or FX.
• Strong outbound sales track record with ability to meet call volume and pipeline targets.
• Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Sales Related Activity – Canada Only
• Conduct research to identify and target potential clients to generate new business opportunities
• Conduct high volume outbound sales calls with a defined activity target
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and potential clients
• Present and promote FX products and services to clients
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement sales strategies
• Monitor market conditions and regulatory changes to identify risks and opportunities
• Provide regular sales reports including pipeline analyses and forecasts
• Maintain accurate client records in the Company database (FXDB) per PIPEDA requirements
• Ensure thorough client onboarding (KYC) and regulatory compliance with AML/ATF requirements
• Engage with Risk and Traders regarding margin facilities
