Position Qualifications
  • Experience promoting complex Business products/services, typically from 2 years in a Sales role.
  • Working knowledge of SaskTel products and services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle business customer contacts with tact and courtesy, including dispute resolution.
  • Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • General knowledge of SaskTel Business Sales products and services (wireline and wireless).
  • Working knowledge of personal computers and software applications.
  • Good multi-tasking skills.
  • Successful completion of prescribed training courses.
  • Typing speed 20 wpm.
Hours Of Work
  • This is a casual-part-time position with hours scheduled according to business needs. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm).
  • Average 30-35 hours per week, vary based on business needs.
  • This is a unionized position; you will become a member of Unifor upon employment. Permanent positions are awarded based on seniority and qualifications.
Shifting
  • Shifts are five days per week with various start times. Shifts may evolve to include evenings and weekends.
  • Flexibility in working availability is expected.
  • Two shift types: scheduled shifts released 30 days in advance, and day-of call-in shifts. You should be prepared to accept nearly 100% of scheduled shifts and at least 80% of day-of call-ins.
Training
  • Training is typically scheduled for full-time shifts and is structured. It covers orientation, SaskTel systems, and technical training.
  • Passing the training program is a condition of employment.
  • Training hours are generally 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, based on requirements.
  • Training is fully paid and attendance is required for 100% of training.
