Job summary

Sentrex Health Solutions, a proudly Canadian company, seeks a Licensed Registered Nurse to join PerCuro by Sentrex. This part-time, on-site role administers biologics and specialty meds, across GI, rheumatology, neurology, oncology, dermatology, and more.

You will support physician practices, assist registrations, educate patients, monitor infusions, and maintain records while following provincial guidelines. Requires 2–4 years infusion experience and CPR/First-Aid.

Qualifications

  • Licensed RN with Professional Liability Insurance.
  • 2–4 years infusion experience or equivalent.
  • Experience in IBD, rheumatology, neurology, or oncology is an asset.
  • CPR and First-Aid certification required.
  • ACLS certificate is an asset.
  • Confident in delivering patient self-injection education.
  • Ability to administer medication IM and/or SC.
  • Experience in critical care, emergency, or acute care is a strong asset.
  • Ability to work autonomously with little supervision as part of a larger remote team.

Responsibilities

  • Work as an extension of the healthcare team to respective physician practices.
  • Perform clinic and patient registration activities according to protocols and business procedures.
  • Provide medical support to patients and HCPs, including education on diseases, therapies, and disease management.
  • Support/monitor administration of IV infusion or injectable treatments in the clinic.

  • Monitor patients post‑infusion/post‑injection and document all completed activities.
  • Review patient files prior to treatment to capture medical history.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, up to 24 hours a week (occasional weekends may be required)

Opportunity

This dynamic position allows for direct patient care in a nurse‑led clinic administering biologics and other specialty medications. In this role, you will manage patients across multiple therapeutic areas including GI, rheumatology, neurology, oncology, dermatology, and more. The Registered Nurse will serve as the clinic’s lead operator, ensuring all quality and patient‑care standards are met.

Day in the Life
  • Work as an extension of the healthcare team to respective physician practices
  • Perform clinic and patient registration activities according to protocols and business procedures
  • Provide medical support to patients and HCPs, including education on diseases, therapies, and disease management
  • Support/monitor administration of IV infusion or injectable treatments in the clinic
  • Administer medications (IM and SC) in the clinic settings as required
  • Monitor patients post‑infusion/post‑injection and document all completed activities
  • Prepare for and attend specialized training sessions for specific therapies as required
  • Review patient files prior to treatment to capture medical history
  • Document and maintain patient records to ensure adequate treatment history
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and corporate information
  • Liaise with physicians’ offices, pharmacies, services providers, and other parties to provide comprehensive and coordinated service to patients and HCPs
  • Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities
  • Administer and adhere to patient care protocols, including clinical monitoring, data collection, ongoing patient follow‑up, compliance, therapy disruption/discontinuation monitoring, adverse event reporting and liaison with primary healthcare providers
  • Follow and abide by all provincial College of Nurses guidelines while providing patient care
  • Additional duties as assigned
What You Need to Ensure You Are Set Up for Success
  • Minimum 2–4 years of infusion experience or equivalent
  • Passionate about supporting patient care and removing barriers to care
  • Licensed RN with Professional Liability Insurance
  • Experience in IBD, rheumatology, neurology, or oncology areas is an asset
  • CPR and First‑Aid certification required
  • ACLS certificate is an asset
  • Confident in delivering patient self‑injection education
  • Ability to administer medication IM and/or SC
  • Experience in critical care, emergency, or acute care is a strong asset

  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry is an asset
