WHAT WE VALUE:
A Day in the Life:
PRT is currently recruiting seasonal Forest Nursery Workers for work starting as early as April to assist with the many different aspects of nursery responsibilities at our PRT Armstrong Nursery in Armstrong, BC. Work is done both indoors and outdoors with duties like sowing, thinning, and transplanting of tree seedlings for reforestation across North America, with a focus on forest seedling lift in the Fall. This engaging, high-paced, physical position offers a safe work environment and an opportunity for a career that will make a positive change in the world. Candidates should have a desire and keenness to learn about the forest seedling nursery activities, work independently and efficiently. No experience required; full training provided.
About the team:
The Nursery Worker will work alongside other Nursery Workers under the supervision of the Nursery Lead and report to the Nursery Manager.
