Acosta Group in Montreal, Canada is seeking a part-time Sampling Associate to represent brands in local grocery stores. You will promote products, prepare simple samples, engage customers, and meet friendly reporting requirements.

Training is provided before your first shift, and scheduling is based on business needs with shifts Thursday to Sunday. Work is casual but professional in a retail environment with on-site responsibilities, stock upkeep, and maintaining a clean station.

Qualifications

• Must be available Thursday through Sunday
• Experience in customer service, retail, or sales preferred
• Confident engaging with customers and delivering product messaging
• Ability to stand for a shift and assist with setup/teardown
• Smartphone access to complete reporting
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional brand representation

This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering ongoing casual shifts throughout the year. Scheduling is based on business needs, and weekly shifts are not guaranteed.

Training is also provided before your first shift!

Schedule

• Thursday & Friday: 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Promote products and offer samples to shoppers in local grocery stores
• Share key product information and answer customer questions
• Meet sampling targets while delivering engaging customer interactions
• Prepare simple food and beverage samples (e.g., coffee, desserts)
• Maintain a clean and organized sampling station (set up, maintain, and tear down)
• Complete reporting after each shift

Qualifications

• Must be available Thursday through Sunday
• Previous customer service, retail, or sales experience preferred
• Confident engaging with customers and delivering key product messaging
• Ability to stand for the duration of a shift and assist with the setup and teardown of the sampling station (all materials stored on-site)
• Access to a smartphone with photo capabilities and to complete reporting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and represent brands professionally in a retail environment
