Job Description

The BC Lions Football Club is seeking highly energetic, driven, and motivated individuals with a passion for sports to join as Account Executive, Service & Retention. As part of our dedicated Ticketing Team, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Participating in our Sales & Service Training Program; BC Lions Training Camp
  2. Renewing and providing excellent service to current season ticket holders
  3. Meeting daily call & activity quotas to achieve sales goals
  4. Monitoring our ROAR Line to assist season ticket holders with inquiries
  5. Visiting prospects and season ticket holders during home games
  6. Growing our fan base by identifying and facilitating new ticket sales
  7. Generating revenue through assigned book of business from current ticket holders
  8. Following up on referral leads
  9. Developing and maintaining relationships through excellent customer service
  10. Participating in weekly sales meetings and providing input on successes and challenges
  11. Supporting guest services on game days and other duties as assigned
  12. Maintaining records in a CRM system using ticketing software
  13. Supporting during events, promotions, and special occasions

Required Experience and Qualifications

  1. Professional attitude
  2. Desire to work in sports
  3. Excellent command of English, with strong written and oral communication skills
  4. Outstanding telephone skills with enthusiasm and confidence
  5. Ability to work independently and in a team
  6. Skill in developing conversations into sales or renewals
  7. Strong organizational and time-management skills
  8. Self-motivated with a positive attitude
  9. Knowledge of CRM (Salesforce) and Archtics is preferred
  10. Grade 12 education required; diploma or degree is an asset
  11. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during games and events

Compensation

Base salary of $35,000 plus commission. Opportunities for growth within the department based on ticket revenue generated.
