Qualifications

  • Able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Physically capable of lifting at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Operate furnace used to melt metals for molding and casting.
  • Operate overhead crane to lift, move, and place materials.
  • Perform pre-operational inspections.
  • Transfer and alloying of liquid aluminum.

Starting Rate of pay: $ 24.05/ hour Shifts Available and Hours:

The schedule alternates between 48 hours in the first week and 36 hours in the second week, with shifts divided between day and night:

Week 1: 48 hours (4 days) from 12 AM to 12 PM

Week 2: 36 hours (3 days) from 12 AM to 12 PM

Week 3: 48 hours (4 days) from 12 PM to 12 AM

Week 4: 36 hours (3 days) from 12 PM to 12 AM

Job Responsibilities:
  • Operate furnace used to melt metals for molding and casting.
  • Operate overhead crane to lift, move and place materials.
  • Perform pre-operational inspections.
  • Transfer and alloying of liquid aluminum (working with liquid aluminum).
  • Perform other related tasks.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a hot environment.
  • Able to read, write and speak English.
  • Physically capable to lift a minimum weight of 50 lbs.
