Salary Range: $60,000 – $80,000 CAD annually

About the Role

As a Fundraising Strategist, you’ll support the strategy and execution of multi-channel fundraising campaigns—across direct mail, mid-level and major donor programs, monthly giving, and events.

You’ll collaborate closely with our project managers, creatives, grant writers, digital fundraisers, and partner organizations to craft donor experiences that are as thoughtful as they are effective.

This role is perfect for someone with a few years of nonprofit fundraising experience, ready to take their strategy skills to the next level in a values-aligned environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the development of annual and campaign-specific fundraising strategies for multiple clients.
  • Help map donor journeys and lifecycle strategies: acquisition, conversion, upgrade, retention, and reactivation.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions, audits, and client workshops.

Program Support

  • Work across channels—supporting direct mail, telemarketing, events, and donor stewardship plans.
  • Help build or optimize monthly giving and mid-level donor programs.
  • Contribute to case for support development, campaign briefs, and donor segmentation strategies.

Client Support

  • Participate in client meetings to perform discovery, present insights and move projects forward.
  • Support project timelines and ensure deliverables are aligned with strategy and schedule.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams on copy, creative, production, and data requirements.

Reporting & Insights

  • Support campaign reporting, post-mortems, and ongoing optimization recommendations.
  • Analyze donor data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities across programs.
  • Maintain knowledge of fundraising benchmarks, trends, and innovations.
  • 2–4 years of experience in fundraising strategy or program management, preferably in a nonprofit or agency setting.
  • A solid understanding of donor behaviour and multi-channel fundraising (mail, phone, in-person, etc.).
  • Organized, collaborative, and confident in translating strategy into action.
  • Curious, analytical, and growth-minded, willing to test, learn, and adapt.
  • Bonus: Experience working with equity-driven or faith-based organizations.
