A volunteer organization is seeking a Fundraising & Resource Mobilization Advisor for a placement in Tanzania. The advisor will support program delivery, lead evaluations, and engage with partners while having the opportunity to experience a modest lifestyle overseas. This position is open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents, requiring both strong organizational skills and COVID-19 vaccination.

Start Date: June / July 2025
Placement Length: 6 months with the possibility of extension

The aim of the Fundraising & Resource Mobilization Advisor is to ensure the delivery of high-quality programs by supporting the development and execution of project plans, monitoring progress, and conducting detailed reviews of implementation and spending. Develop and maintain evaluation methods to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement. Lead the analysis and documentation of best practices, lessons learned, and challenges in implementing Business Development Services (BDS) through SIDO T-LED Hubs. Write donor reports by coordinating inputs from multiple sources and facilitating the internal review process to ensure timely submission.
You will also apply organizational skills to assist with strategic planning, guiding the organization from its current state to a sustainable future. This role requires managing multiple priorities and engaging with diverse partners and stakeholders. Working with international volunteers, you will collaborate with team members, using your strong interpersonal skills to support and advise managers and staff.

We will support your preparation through a Volunteering Mobilization Advisor, pre-placement training, and access to online resources. This training aims to maximize your understanding of the placement, culture, safety, and health protocols.
