Responsibilities of your role

Reporting to the Senior Fundraising Manager Gift in Wills this accountable role will drive future revenue through building and nurturing meaningful connections with confirmed and intending Gift in Wills donors across Australia and New Zealand.

You will play a central role in :

  • Managing a portfolio of donors using both mass marketing strategies to inspire and engage new donors and highly personalised stewardship to develop
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of Gift in Wills strategies
  • Supporting the development of reporting and insights communications and event delivery
  • Collaborating on the creation of supporter materials
  • Managing aspects of estate administration; and
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant fundraising regulations and ethical practices.

To ensure a unified approach you will working closely with the broader fundraising team and Engagement department including Digital and Communications and will liaise externally with estate professionals.

What you will bring

As an inspiring (and aspiring!) fundraising professional you will feel comfortable engaging with donors and take pride in developing thoughtful and meaningful donor experiences. You will thrive in a global humanitarian aid organisation and ideally can demonstrate :

  • Proven fundraising experience in Gift in Wills fundraising and / or estate administration.
  • Demonstrated relationship management experience particularly in donor retention.
  • Knowledge of broad fundraising principles and industry best practices.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills including experience with project coordination
  • Excellent communication and social skills with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and compassionately.
