Job summary

Accounting Advantage is seeking an accomplished Accountant to manage monthly fund and property-level financial reporting under IFRS and ASPE for three clients. The role involves preparing comprehensive financial statements, variance analysis, and schedules for leases and mortgages.

You will also process invoices, GST/HST returns, distributions, and participate in budgeting and annual audits. Hybrid work follows training, with two in-office days, enabling close collaboration and process

Qualifications

• 2-3 years accounting experience
• Strong Excel skills with formula tracing
• CPA or progressing towards CPA
• Strong communication skills for client interactions
• Self-starter and initiative to improve processes

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly fund and property-level financial reports with variance analysis
• Prepare quarterly fund-level reports and mortgage/lease schedules
• Process invoices, bank deposits, and bank transfers
• Prepare monthly HST/QST returns and process payments
• Manage distributions to clients and annual true-up calculations
• Assist with budgeting and year-end audits
• Build and automate Excel templates and ad hoc reporting
