Job summary

Achkar Law in Ontario is seeking a Litigation Lawyer for a fully remote position. The successful candidate will bring expertise in labour, employment, human rights, and corporate commercial litigation, handling cases with independence while collaborating remotely with the team. Requirements include LL.B.

or J.D., good standing with the Law Society of Ontario, and at least four years of relevant litigation experience. Proficiency in English is required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• LL.B. or J.D. from a recognized law school.
• Licensed to practice with Law Society of Ontario.
• 4+ years in labour, employment, human rights, and corporate litigation.
• Strong English communication; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Steer litigation cases with autonomy.
• Draft, review, and manage key case documents.
• Represent clients in mediations, discoveries, and court.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Ability to strategize and understand the legal process.
