Qualifications

• 8+ years experience with Java Spring-based frameworks, preferably Spring Boot.
• 5+ years experience with messaging technologies (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Service Bus).
• 5+ years experience with databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Experience building REST API based integration and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and Jenkins.
• Experience with software testing tools (JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium).
• Experience with Chaos Testing and SRE practices for resilient cloud apps.
• Experience designing and developing microservices.

Role and Responsibilities

• Working with public cloud and cloud based technologies with Microsoft Azure preferred
• Passion for engineering excellence and continuous improvement via collaboration and willingness to learn
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills to understand complex customer needs and transactions

Experience

• 8+ years solid experience with java spring-based frameworks and libraries preferably Spring boot
• 5+ years hands on experience working with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka or Service Bus
• 5+ years experience with building applications working with databases like Oracle, Postgres etc.
• Experience building and consuming REST API based integration and microservices architecture.
• Understanding and experience working with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins
• Experience with software application testing approaches and tools like jUnit, Cucumber, Selenium.
• Experience with Chaos Testing and other SRE practices for building highly resilient cloud-based software applications
• Experience designing and developing applications in microservices architecture

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for Canada-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $90,000-120,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. If the position offered is temporary, the position will not be eligible for incentive compensation.
