Chinook’s Edge School Division invites applications for a full-time temporary teaching position at Jessie Duncan Elementary School in Penhold, Alberta. The successful candidate will teach in a Grade 2 classroom and collaborate with a school team to support student needs.

Preference will be given to applicants with related experience and a valid Alberta Teacher Certificate. Applicants must provide a criminal record check and vulnerable sector check as part of the hiring process.

Chinook’s Edge School Division invites applications for a full-time temporary teaching position at Jessie Duncan Elementary School (Grades Pre-K-3) in Penhold, effective immediately. The successful candidates will teach in a grade 2 classroom. Preference will be given to applicants with related experience.

Jessie Duncan Elementary School is looking for candidates with the passion/ability/experience to:

• work collaboratively within a classroom/grade/school team
• respond to student needs through differentiated strategies and creative solutions
• build relationships with staff, students, and parents

We ask that applicants prepare both a cover letter and resume, complete with the names and telephone numbers of three current work related references.

Applications will be accepted until 11:59 p.m., Tuesday, October 6, 2026.

The successful applicant will possess a valid Alberta Teacher Certificate, and be required to provide a criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
