Full Time Temporary Educational Assistants

St. Peter the Apostle Catholic High School is a Grade 9 to 12 School

St. Peter the Apostle Catholic High School is a grade 9-12 in Spruce Grove, AB that serves almost 1200 students. SPACHS is currently seeking two Educational Assistants to work closely with students, teachers, and other school staff to provide support to students with diverse academic and social/emotional needs. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required. The assignment is to begin August 26, 2025 and end June 29, 2026 of the 2025-2026 school year with the possibility of extending for future employment.

Salary range $18.98 - $26.83 as per Support Terms and Conditions of Employment.

Preference Given to Candidates with the Following Qualifications:

• Experience utilizing strength-based, trauma informed practices
• Experience working with students with diverse needs
• Able to effectively deal with crisis situation; physically able to lift and/or protect
• Supporting Individuals through Valued Attachments training
• Mental Health First Aid or equivalent
• Diploma in child/youth care, Educational Assistant Certificate is an asset
