Position Details

St. Peter the Apostle Catholic High School in Spruce Grove, AB, serving nearly 1200 students, is seeking two Educational Assistants. The role involves supporting students with diverse academic and social/emotional needs, requiring strong organizational and interpersonal skills. The position starts August 26, 2025, and ends June 29, 2026, with potential extension. Salary ranges from $18.98 to $26.83 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience with strength-based, trauma-informed practices
• Experience supporting students with diverse needs
• Ability to handle crisis situations and physical capability to lift/protect
• Training in Supporting Individuals through Valued Attachments
• Mental Health First Aid or similar certification
• Child/youth care diploma or Educational Assistant Certificate (asset)
