Job description
Duties and Responsibilities
  • To be responsible for the full preparation and stocking of the Soup, Sandwich, Chill & Grill department;
  • To efficiently prepare sandwiches, soups and salads according to Company standards for food preparation and appearance;
  • To serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner;
  • To respond to any customer inquiries, requests and complaints ensuring courteous customer relations at all times;
  • To assist the department manager in the training and direction of part time staff;
  • To maintain the department in the absence of the department manager;
  • To ensure that the safety and sanitation of the department meet with Company policies and standards;
  • To perform other general duties, as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Would Possess
  • Must possess a minimum of three (3) years food preparation experience, experience in food preparation a definite asset;
  • Flexibility to work a variety of hours which include days, evenings and weekends;
  • Must have excellent organizational, verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
