S&S Activewear in Woodbridge, ON is seeking a full-time Seasonal Shipping Associate (Order Puller) to join our warehouse team during peak season. You will pick customer orders, check packing lists, drive an electric cart, and ensure accuracy and productivity while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Starting pay is $19.57 CAD per hour. This seasonal role lasts for up to 90 days from date of hire, with a schedule that includes Monday–Tuesday and Friday shifts.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Order Puller is responsible for pulling and packing orders correctly while meeting productivity and accuracy standards.

COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE

Starting pay is $19.57 per hour CAD.

• Monday - Tuesday: 12:30pm - 10pm
• Friday: 2:30pm - 10pm

SEASONAL: As a seasonal hire you have a defined employment time period of 90 days from date of hire.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Picks customer orders

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Must be comfortable using electronic devices.
• Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately.
• Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.
• Must be flexible with start and departure time changing.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.
• Responsible for any additional duties assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

In performing this job, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items with hands and arms, up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus and hearing.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool. The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise. Employee must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines. Employee must be able to change priorities or job duties as needed and interact with employees at all levels.
