Position Summary

Tacten is currently seeking a Rope Access Journeyman Insulator to support long-term maintenance operations in Cold Lake, AB. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our team, executing high-elevation work with precision, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety. Position Information:

• Journeyman status or a minimum of 4,000 verifiable hours

• Opportunities available for Level 1, 2, and 3 Rope Access Technicians

Project Details:

• Location: IOR Cold Lake

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9-hour shifts

• Start Date: ASAP

• Duration: Longterm placement

• Preference: Locals to Bonnyville/Cold Lake preferred

• Accommodations: Hotel accommodations and meal allowance options available for non-locals

Requirements

Core Competencies:

• IRATA Level 1, 2, or 3 certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Journeyman ticket or verifiable hours of experience

• Comfortable and confident working at significant heights

• Proven experience in industrial environments

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain positive relationships with clients and co-workers

• High level of safety awareness and commitment to quality

• Self-motivated with the ability to perform at a high technical and professional standard

Safety Requirements:

• CSTS-2020 or ESC CSO

• ESC H2S Alive

• ESC Confined Space

• ESC Fall Protection (considered an asset)
