JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the general direction of the Hotel Housekeeping Manager, the Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining an exceptionally clean and inviting environment for our hotel guests and responding to specific room supply requests in a timely manner. They must adhere to the policies, procedures, quality standards, and services established by the management team to ensure guest satisfaction.

Position Summary

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of guest rooms, responding to guest requests, and ensuring health and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness of assigned guest rooms
  • Clean sixteen (16) guest rooms per shift
  • Report damages or inefficiencies to management
  • Respond courteously to guest questions and requests
  • Operate cleaning equipment safely
  • Maintain cleanliness of common areas as needed
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols
Education and Qualification Requirements
  • Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a hotel
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push at least 11.5 kg (25 lbs)
  • Ability to multi-task and meet daily quotas
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment
  • Safety-conscious mindset
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
Work Environment Considerations
