Located in the heart of downtown Toronto's entertainment and business districts, InterContinental Toronto Centre is seeking a Full-Time Room Attendant. Your Day-to-Day

Clean guest rooms and/or suites promptly and thoroughly to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash, and cleaning kitchen areas and appliances.
• Notify supervisors when rooms are ready for sale or occupancy and report any rooms that cannot be serviced.
• Report repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
• Respond to guest requests and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Manage supplies and amenities efficiently, minimizing waste.
• Handle lost and found items according to procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments to promote teamwork and service quality.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and other duties as assigned, including potential turndown services.

Qualifications

Basic reading, writing, and math skills. Housekeeping experience and English proficiency preferred.

This role requires the ability to:

• Lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull approximately 200 pounds.
• Stand, move, and handle objects frequently.
• Bend, stoop, and kneel regularly.

Additional Information

• Ability to read and complete checklists and room assignments.
• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.
