Job Summary

Operate a variety of presses from 50 ton to 1000 ton, ensuring quality and productivity standards are met. Assist with setup as necessary and complete all required documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write in English
• Minimum 24 months experience in a press department
• Ability to follow standardized work instructions and problem solve as needed

Responsibilities

• Operate hand transfer and progressive die operations and/or perform other duties as per specific job instructions (e.g., coil replacement)
• Problem solve automation issues (e.g., decoiler, feeder, die)
• Follow work instructions and verbal directions to meet production quotas
• Ensure only quality parts are passed on; notify supervisor of quality issues immediately
• Complete documentation accurately and timely (production reports, quality alerts, etc.)
• Comply with all company policies including health and safety, quality, environmental systems, HR policies, and employee handbook
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and legislation, including environmental and occupational health and safety laws
