Position Overview

This role reports to the Pharmacy Manager and involves receiving, preparing, and delivering prescriptions accurately and timely. You will ensure adequate inventory levels, counsel patients with proper documentation, and engage positively with customers while promoting health awareness and education.

What You'll Do
  • Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels of medication and over-the-counter supplements
  • Counsel patients regarding new and additional medications
  • Create awareness and educate customers through public relations activities
  • Provide timely and positive resolutions to patient needs and doctor requests
  • Review and manage costs within the pharmacy
  • Train new and existing pharmacy colleagues
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist license
  • Excellent customer relations, professionalism, and communication skills
  • Leadership and performance management abilities
  • Experience with community marketing strategies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with HealthWatch Pharmacy System is an asset
