Job summary

Gan Nitzanim Child Care Centre in Thornhill, Ontario is seeking a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to provide a safe, developmentally appropriate program aligned with our curriculum. You will plan activities, encourage children, and maintain a healthy, safe learning environment.

The successful candidate must be RECE in good standing with the College of ECE, hold an ECE diploma, and have Standard First Aid/ CPR certification.

Qualifications

• RECE required in good standing with the College of ECE.
• ECE diploma required.
• Valid Standard First Aid/ CPR certification required.
• Experience with preschool/nursery beneficial.
• Knowledge of ELECT and How Does Learning Happen principles preferred.
• Ability to plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs.
• Team player with strong verbal and written communication.
• Clear health and vulnerable sector check is necessary.

Full Time/ Part Time Registered Early Childhood Educator-

The position is available for an individual who's responsibility is providing a safe and developmentally appropriate program which aligns with the curriculum taught here at Gan Nitzanim. The responsibilities are to carry out and plan appropriate activities, encourage and assist children, support whenever needed and ensure the child's environment is healthy and safe.

The successful candidate should meet the following qualifications:

• Registered and in good standing with College of ECE( for the RECE position)
• Applicants must have ECE diploma
• Valid Standard First Aid/ CPR certification
• Experience with Pre- School/ Nursery
• Working knowledge of ELECT and How Does Learning Happen principles
• Ability to plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs
• Ability to work as part of a committed and dedicated team
• Ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A clear health and vulnerable sector check is necessary prior to employment
