Full Time / Part Time - Commercial Buildings Security Guards

Pay: Competitive

Location: Edmonton/Alberta

Employment type: Full-Time

Job Description

• Provide exceptional customer service and assistance, maintaining effective relationships with clients and patrons
• Conduct proactive patrols to ensure safety, address policy breaches, and note any concerns
• Attend to and investigate security alarms and emergencies promptly and professionally
• De-escalate crisis situations, provide support, and liaise with emergency personnel, including police, fire, and paramedics
• Exercise crowd control and evict trespassers when necessary
• Write clear, detailed reports including incident, emergency, liability, and daily reports
• Provide first aid and medical response when required
• Utilize two-way radios and computer applications to communicate site activities
• Handle Lost & Found items and inquiries

Job Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong observational skills
• Ability to make immediate decisions while maintaining composure in emergency situations with minimal supervision
• Ability to walk 18/20 km and stairs

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
