Position Title: Water Truck Labourer
Employment Type: Full-Time (Seasonal with Year-Round Opportunities in snow)

Position Summary

We are currently seeking a hardworking and reliable Water Truck Labourer to support our Water Truck Driver on various job sites. This role involves assisting with water delivery operations, equipment handling, loading/unloading, and maintaining safe work environments. This is an overnight position requiring physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Water Truck Driver with daily operations

  • Help load and unload water and related equipment at job sites

  • Secure tools and cargo to ensure safe transportation

  • Monitor water flow and assist with hose connections and disconnections

  • Perform safety checks on equipment and report any concerns

  • Follow proper spill containment and response procedures

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and truck

  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures

  • Support with basic paperwork or logging activities when needed

  • Perform other general labour duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Valid Class G Driver’s License preferred but not required

  • Previous labour or outdoor work experience an asset

  • Able to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks

  • Comfortable using hand tools and basic equipment

  • Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and teamwork

  • Willingness to work overnight shifts, with potential for overtime and weekend work

  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated

Work Conditions
  • Primarily outdoor work in varying weather conditions

  • Evening and overnight shifts required

  • Physical labour including lifting, bending, and extended periods of standing or walking

  • Seasonal work from spring through fall, with potential for transition into winter duties
