A leading healthcare facility in Ontario is seeking a full-time Associate Neurologist to join their expanding service. The role includes inpatient consultations, emergency department work, and participation in a Rapid Access Clinic, emphasizing culturally appropriate care for indigenous patients.
Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS) is a 300+ bed acute care facility offering state-of-the-art programs within a team environment, supported by dedicated staff committed to high-level, patient-focused care. The organization includes two main hospital sites: the Brantford General Hospital and Willet Hospital, located in the picturesque Grand River Valley, 20 minutes west of Hamilton. Our community provides excellent recreational opportunities.
BCHS serves as the area’s primary acute care facility, providing comprehensive specialty programs and services for over 120,000 residents of Brantford and Brant County. We are a regional center for various services, including surgical care.
The Department comprises several divisions, including Hospital-Based Internist (HBI), Critical Care, Oncology, Gastroenterology, and Subspecialty Medicine. We are currently recruiting a full-time Associate Neurologist to join our expanding service. This role involves inpatient consultations, emergency department work, EMG resources, and participation in our General Neurology Rapid Access Clinic.
As BCHS serves a significant indigenous population, providing culturally appropriate care for indigenous patients is a priority. Physicians with experience or interest in caring for indigenous persons are encouraged to apply.
