Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS) is a 300+ bed acute care facility offering state-of-the-art programs within a team environment, supported by dedicated staff committed to high-level, patient-focused care. The organization includes two main hospital sites: Brantford General Hospital and Willet Hospital, located in the scenic Grand River Valley, 20 minutes west of Hamilton. BCHS serves as the region’s acute care facility, providing comprehensive specialty programs and services to over 120,000 residents of Brantford and Brant County. We are a regional center for various services, including surgical care. The Department of Internal Medicine comprises several divisions such as Hospital Based Internist (HBI), Critical Care, Oncology, GI, and Subspecialty Medicine.
We are currently recruiting a full-time Associate Neurologist to join our expanding service. The role involves inpatient consultations, emergency department work, utilization of EMG resources, and participation in our General Neurology Rapid Access Clinic.
The ideal candidate will possess an independent practice license from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and Neurology certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons. We seek individuals with exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills, a dedication to service excellence, and the ability to work effectively with physicians, nursing staff, patients, managers, and the community. A commitment to medical education is also valued.
