Private Households Meghan and Thomas are seeking a dependable full-time in-home caregiver to care for their two young children in Manotick, Ontario. This role requires at least 1 year of relevant experience and offers benefits including health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience caring for infants or toddlers.
• Reliable and flexible with scheduling.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow parents’ lead with toilet training.
• Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas.
• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens.
• Bathe, dress and feed infants and children.
• Discipline children according to parents’ methods.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• Keep records of daily activities and health information.
• Maintain a safe and healthy home environment.
• Organize activities and outings for children.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals for children.
• Prepare infants and children for rest periods.
• Supervise and care for children.
• Tend to emotional well-being of children.
