Job summary

Days Inn Kenora in Kenora, Ontario is seeking a self-motivated hotel cleaner with good interpersonal skills. The position is permanent full-time, with day, evening and weekend shifts and a starting wage of $15.75 per hour for a 40-hour week.

Responsibilities include cleaning guest areas, dusting, vacuuming, making beds, restocking supplies, disinfecting fixtures and reporting losses. Training will be provided; English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Fluent English language required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Training will be provided to selected candidate.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
• Dust furniture and fixtures.
• Vacuum carpets, drapes and upholstery.
• Make beds and change sheets.
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries; stock linen closet.
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Clean windows, walls and ceilings; clean changing rooms and showers.
