Customer Service

• Provides SMART customer service by following Lowe’s policies, procedures, and programs.
• Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise based on their needs.
• Responds promptly to customer and employee questions, guiding them through store areas and projects when necessary.
• Expresses sincere appreciation to customers.
• Communicates product information, including stock, special orders, features, benefits, applications, and warranties.
• Cross-trains in other store areas to enhance customer service.
• Handles calls appropriately to meet customer and associate needs.
• Reviews schedules to ensure proper coverage and assigns backups as needed.
• Collaborates with the PRO team to meet service expectations for Pro Fulfillment.
• Prepares and verifies delivery, pro, installation, and pickup orders.
• Follows up with leadership on order quality issues.
• Monitors notifications to maintain service standards during customer visits and order submissions.

In-Stock Management

• Uses Lowe’s systems to manage inventory and orders.
• Monitors fulfillment areas, bays, and inventories.
• Provides updates on store status to supervisors.
• Acts as a liaison between Pro and fulfillment teams to ensure timely order processing.
• Picks, stages, inspects, and loads merchandise according to invoices, using power equipment when needed.
• Verifies product details match invoices and orders.
• Performs supplemental fulfillment tasks as required.

Store Cleanliness and Safety

• Completes administrative tasks related to delivery and pickup, including auditing and contacting customers.
• Ensures loads are safe, secure, and compliant with DOT regulations.
• Organizes merchandise and maintains store cleanliness.
• Detects and reports security risks such as shoplifting or theft.
• Maintains safety standards and conducts daily safety reviews.
• Operates store equipment safely, obtaining necessary certifications for forklifts and other machinery.
• Follows all safety protocols relevant to their duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
