The Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh
Requires a Full Time Equipment Operator / Labourer

The Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh is accepting applications for the above position within the Public Works Department.

Reporting directly to the Public Works Superintendent, the position will provide a variety of snow and ice removal maintenance, construction, and repair service to roads equipment and Township property. Other tasks will be assigned as required.

• On-call pay is offered for this position for scheduled shifts and a Clothing Allowance
• Comprehensive Pension Plan Member of the OMERS Pension Fund (Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System)
• Comprehensive Group Benefit Package
• Compensation range for this full-time, permanent position is $25.52 to $31.90 per hour with a 40-hour work week
• Annual compensation adjustment made based on Consumer Price Indexing (CPI)
• A market compensation is reviewed frequently to ensure it remains competitive within the market

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Class AZ or DZ Driver’s License
• Grader operation experience will be considered
